What We Believe
We believe the Bible is the Word of God given to us by our loving Father as the only sure guide for our faith and life.
The Lord Jesus Christ, by His perfect obedience and sacrifice on the cross, purchased forgiveness of all our sins, reconciliation, and an everlasting inheritance in the Kingdom of Heaven for those that are His.
Saving faith is the accepting, receiving, and resting upon Christ alone for eternal life.
When one is saved, the Holy Spirit begins the work of conforming the believer to be more like their Savior Jesus Christ. The old sinful nature is removed day by day and God’s nature, created in righteousness and holiness, is instilled in the believer. This is done primarily through the Word of God (the Bible), the worship of God in His church and prayer.
The Church consists of all those throughout the world that profess Jesus Christ as Lord. The local church is where Christs’ believers worship together, with Lord Jesus Christ as the only Head of the Church.
